Standard Chartered named “Best Retail Bank” and “Best Mortgage Offering” by Retail Banker International

Standard Chartered Vietnam has been named the “Best Retail Bank” and “Best Mortgage Offering” in Vietnam in 2022 at the Retail Banker International (RBI) Asia-Pacific (APAC) Trailblazer Awards 2022 for its digital first and customer-centric approach to banking.

The awards recognise the Bank’s retail banking capabilities and the commitment to offer world- class banking products for valued customers. Standard Chartered Vietnam brings together quality products and an innovative, digitally-led business model, to provide an award-winning proposition to meet the needs of Vietnam’s affluent and emerging affluent.

The Bank also has a digitally active portfolio with 67% monthly usage rate and a 93% mobile penetration rate, reflecting good uptake for the numerous digital tools that it has introduced in recent years.

In March 2022, the Bank launched Green Mortgage Loan, which offers preferential interest rates and special privileges to clients purchasing properties at green real estate projects. This is a further step in the Bank’s sustainability agenda which aims to support sustainable development in Vietnam and accelerate the world towards net-zero.
